Google Massacre - Google Adwords Payback time

Google Massacre - Aren′t you just sick and tired… and sick and tired of literally throwing away your money for nothing,  and getting massacred with Google AdWords?

How frustrating is it, when you think you′re on to a great niche, you write a killer ad, painstakingly add all the tracking codes, and set a competitive CPC bid, with a good daily budget….

…and wake up the next morning to something that leaves your jaw dropping on the floor in disbelief:

You just spent over $500, and have NOTHING!

The amount of impressions is astonishing, and the number of clicks are obscenely high…

Yet, where’s all the money you planned on making?

You lost… AGAIN!

Sounds familiar, doesn′t it?

Listen, I know where that’s coming from, because I’ve just spent over $2,000 on a massive Google AdWords campaign… and lost it all.

I’ll swear it on any divinity you want, but you better believe… I got drawn and quartered like an animal.

And deep in my heart, I KNEW this one was a winner.

I studied my market, did the keyword research, crafted a superbly articulated set of ads, and was meticulous  in  targeting the right people.

I KNEW this one was my big break, the final hurdle…

I even went so far as to up my minimum bids to OVER the actual minimum, because I KNEW that if I got my clicks, I was going to make bank.

I set a massive $3,000 daily limit, courtesy of my Amex, and thankfully I could afford a week of that on my credit card.

I KNEW I was about to roll in more money than I had ever seen in my years of Internet Marketing endeavours.

And I also KNEW something went horribly wrong the next morning, when I checked my AdWords account…

I had one… yes, ONE miserable sale!

And I’d lost over $2,000 to Google… I’d been MASSACRED.

I felt a sickening knot in the pit of my stomach, as if I had just been shot with a cannon ball.

I just wanted to scream. Cry. Even run away…

“How could this be? How could this ever possibly BE?!”

Another shattered dream, a mountain of hard work all done for nothing, and just the most recent in a string
of devastating fiascos in this “damned internet marketing”…

And a hole in my wallet that burned more than the pain in my defeated soul.

How was I EVER going to explain this to my wife?

She’s as understanding and supportive as anyone, but I can already see another expense on my credit card…

Her “I’m leaving, this is too much!” airline ticket.

Just leave me slaughtered, to rot in the sun, ok?

If this sounds familiar, it’s because it’s all too common. And I’m sure you′ve been scalped yourself… too  often.

Thankfully, there are some people who can pick themselves up off the floor, and go at it again with a furious  all-out “balls to the wall” sense of bloodthirsty vengeance in the face of Google.
